Jim Pavett - Studio / Live Drummer, Recording Engineer, & Producer.

Jim Pavett has been exposed to music his whole life, and is a 20+ year veteran of the recording industry. Something of a Renaissance man, Jim is equally at home as musician, producer and engineer, and brings his well-rounded skills to bear with any project he is asociated with. Jim has a degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Arizona, and is the owner and operator of Allusion Studios and Pure Wave Audio. The quality of Jim's drum sounds is a testament to the time lavished in Pavett’s state-of-the-art facility.

Jim’s passion for electronics and technology keeps him constantly searching for the latest in equipment and technology for himself and his recording facility. On the question of high production values, Jim says, "I believe in having the right tools to allow musicians to represent themselves. The instrument and the musician become one…perfecting nuances to get that little extra performance."
